Tonight we took the kiddos down to visit with Aunt Shay and her girls and some of her grandkids. It was a blast!  Ethan adored the older kids.  They were all so good with Ethan and Lara and they kept us laughing.  One trick they showed us, and you really have to see it to see how hysterical it is, is using a straw under their armpits and making noises.  It was hysterical!  We got it on video.

The kids had a blast, so hopefully they will sleep good tonight.  Neither one put up much a fight to going to bed :)

What’s new on our end???  Well, we turned around today and found Lara sitting up on her own.  We both thought the other other one had put her up to sitting.  She’s still not doing a true crawl yet.  She will take a few small “crawls” before she reverts to her low crawl.  Ethan never stops talking.  He just talks and talks.  He tells us what everything is as we go by it…tree, bird, flowers, bee, shoes, foot, toes, nose, eyes…you get the idea.  

Bryan was supposed to have his eye surgery, but didn’t b/c the clinic messed up or gave us wrong information or something.  So, we’re still waiting.  We’re leaving to go camping with our church this Friday out at their campgrounds they own, so we’re excited.  It should be a fun time.  Charlie’s getting to go as well.  We’ve gone to the dog park several times (Ethan and Lara both love getting to meet new dogs) and let Charlie make some new friends.  We have new neighbors who have a boxer, so Charlie is so excited to get to have a playmate next door.  Bryan and I are going to help another young couple from church teach the youth group.  We’ll then split them guys and girls and have discussion.  I know Bryan and I are both excited to get to work with a great group of kids.

 Other than that, we’re just staying busy!
