1. Ethan and I had been sick on Monday night/Tuesday morning, but were on the mend and feeling much better. Bonnie and Tommy arrived on Christmas Eve.  Their flight was delayed, but they made it a little after the kids were up from naps and we were able to decorate cookies for Santa and have a nice evening.

2. Christmas day was relatively calm.  The kids had an overload of gifts and had so much fun opening all of them.  Ethan got a pirate ship from Santa, and Lara got a new grocery cart to go along with her kitchen she got for her birthday/Christmas.  She also got a new baby high chair and cradle.  Ethan got a Buzz Lightyear doll and a new digital camera. I haven’t uploaded his photos to see how his have turned out yet.

3.  Christmas night was less than fun.  We put Lara to bed, only to have her screaming about 30 minutes later that she was “sticky”.  You can only imagine what this was.  She got sick about 4-5 times.  One time, she was on our bed as I was trying to clean her up when she got sick all over our bed.  After changing our sheets, she then got sick IN our bed, not to mention the 3 other times in her pack n play.  She had a bath before bed, then had to get one around 10:30 that night as well.  She ended up sleeping with me and having the dry-heaves a few times.  Bonnie then got sick early the next morning and hers continued all day.  Tommy, Bryan, the kids and myself went to Cabelas the night of the 26th and had a good time while Bonnie stayed home and rested.

4. Saturday night, we went to Zoo Lights.  Bonnie stayed home to rest some more just in case since she still wasn’t 100%.  The kids loved it!

5. Sunday, we went to church, then had planned to go to the Train Festival at the state history museum.  Then, the illness took another.  Tommy got sick.  So, we came home and rested.  Bryan and I took Lara to the PX to do some shopping and Ethan stayed home with Grandma and Pa-Pa.

6.  Monday, we went to the train festival. The kids loved it. We went last year, but forgot to take the camera.  This year was much better with the kids being older.

We had a great holiday, everyone is on the mend, and the sun is shining. What could be better!?  I’ll have more photos later!
