A week has gone by and I didn’t even realize it!  Crazy how that happens.

Let’s see…a quick recap.  

1.  We thought Lara swallowed a coin, but weren’t sure since we weren’t really watching her while we were at Bryan’s office.  We dug through 4 diapers, no coin.  Called dr, went to ER for x-rays, no coin.  Dug through poop for nothing! HAHA

2.  I’ve been reading like crazy. Forgot how nice it is to find a good book and just read.  Read “Foul Play” by Janet Evanovich (quick read!), and almost have The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory completed after two nights staying up late.  Was up til 1:30 absorbed in that book this morning!

3. Bryan’s home for his block leave.  We went to Kindermusik this morning with the kids and then to the mall to play before lunch.

4.  We’ve had horrible rain the past few days. Highway is closed in some areas due to high water, other areas have been evacuated due to the fast rising rate of water.  Pray for everyone’s safety in the affected areas.

5.  Ethan is moping around still asking for Timothy, who just moved to Texas. Last Sunday he moped during Bible class instead of participating in songs and activities.  He asked us, “Where’s my Timothy?”  We told him in Texas.  He knows that we live in Washington now, so I need to get the map out and show him.  He then told me, “Timothy’s my best friend, but I’ll get to see him soon” (We’re planning a road trip in April to go visit).  He’ll get better, just going to take some time.

6.  We’ve had two sets of surprise visitors over the past few days. Steve and Kay, family friends, popped in on us on Friday and Lara and Ethan just LOVED Kay.  We’ve seen them at church while they’re up here (he’s working, she’s getting to visit) and the kids get very exited!  We also had Jamie fly in for a night (she’s a flight attendant for SW) and I picked her up, she stayed the night with us, brought her to church, and she even braved a 3 yr old birthday party with us!  She’s such a trooper.  The kids keeping calling her, “My Jamie”.  

Other than that, we’re staying busy. I do have some cute photos of Ethan, Lara, Timothy and Charlotte, but need to get them off of my camera and on the computer. I promise I will work on that.
